We had a wonderful stay at a cozy hostel on a main street. the bed was warm and comfortable, and the toilets were sparkling clean. We loved the convenient location, with plenty of shops and street food nearby. the staff went above and beyond to help us with transportation to the airport, even showing us how to download a taxi app. The hostel was near Ewha University and the subway station, making it easy for us to explore the city. Cons: Couldn't stay longer 😔.

I recently stayed at the Philstay hostel in Seoul for my first solo trip. The location was fantastic, right by two metro stations, making it easy to explore the city. I opted for a room with only two beds, which gave me and my friend a sense of privacy. The hostel provided fresh eggs and bread for breakfast, as well as shampoo, body wash, and one towel per day. They even had a washing machine available for use. The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage after check-out so we could enjoy our last day in the city. a great experience!

Great location, easily accessible by public transport and safe for solo female travelers even at night. Plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance at affordable prices. The security of the hotel is good, with password entry required for both the main door and room door. The beds come with privacy curtains, mini foldable desks, and hooks, providing a comfortable and private space.
The toilets are often wet and there is no separate washroom and bathroom. The lack of a clothes dryer means laundry needs to be hang-dried.

There were a few aspects of my stay that I didn't particularly enjoy. the room was quite small, making it difficult to move around and store my belongings.

The room was very comfortable, offering a cozy space to relax in. the hotel is conveniently located just a short walk away from the subway station and has easy access to various food options.
The lack of privacy, as the janitor was often present and made it difficult to have personal time without interruptions. the absence of a kitchen was a drawback who would have appreciated the option to cook their own meals.
